Lawmaker wants to rename Nashville International Airport after Trump
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Tennessee Republican has filed a bill that would rename the state’s largest airport after the soon-to-be president.
State Rep. Todd Warner (R-Chapel Hill) filed HB 217, which would rename Nashville International Airport to Trump International Airport.
The bill would only apply to Nashville International Airport (BNA). It details how signs with the new name would be erected and would inform the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to change all references to any trademarks or patents bearing the Nashville International Airport name to be switched to Trump International Airport, as well as to change all contracts accordingly.
