McDonald’s unveils new value menu, extends $5 Meal Deal
(KTLA) — McDonald’s is offering its customers more ways to save on Big Macs, McNuggets, and other food items beginning in the New Year.
The fast-food giant announced on Friday that it will launch a new everyday value menu on Jan. 7, 2025, which will include exclusive in-app offers, a new Buy One, Add One offer, and the popular $5 Meal Deal.
Here’s what you need to know.
Buy One, Add One for $1
Customers can customize their own deals with a mix-and-match option on their favorite items. When customers buy one full-priced menu item from the McValue menu, they can add on another for $1.
The McValue menu will include Sausage McMuffins, Sausage Biscuits, Sausage Burritos, hash browns, six-piece Chicken McNuggets, Double Cheeseburgers, McChickens and small fries.
$5 Meal Deal & More
McDonald’s is extending its popular $5 Meal Deal through the summer of 2025. Customers nationwide could have their choice of a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, small fries, four-piece Chicken McNuggets and a small soft drink – all for just $5
The deal was initially supposed to last four weeks over the summer but proved to be a hit among customers.
McDonald’s is also partnering with franchisees nationwide to offer local deals. In Southern California, customers can get 20% off $15 orders in the McDonald’s App through Dec. 29 and 2 for $6 Sausage McMuffins with egg through the remainder of the year.
The news comes after McDonald’s warned that sales could suffer following a regional E-coli outbreak tied to raw onions.
Value meals have become fixtures at various fast food chains nationwide as companies try to lure customers back amid high dining out costs.
